IBBS Unveils New Corporate Brand, Recaps Successful Year at the CCTA Annual Meeting in Puerto Rico
New Image Reflects 2009 Growth and Success, 2010 Position as Leader in Managed Broadband Services
Puerto Rico (January 27, 2010) — Today from the Caribbean Cable and Telecommunications Annual Meeting in Puerto Rico, Integrated Broadband Services (IBBS), the leader in managed, integrated broadband solutions, introduced its new brand and corporate identity. The new logo symbolizes the infinite possibilities through which IBBS enhances broadband and cable operators’ ability to deliver value to their customers and capture new markets.
IBBS Chief Executive Officer, Dave Keil, commented that, “The new IBBS logo reflects the close partnerships we have with our customers as well as the expertise within our organization that will continue to help operators address the myriad opportunities that lie before them in this dynamic broadband environment.” He continued, “IBBS is much more than simply an OSS software and services vendor; we have become a true solutions provider.”
This transition occurred in a year when the Company experienced tremendous growth and recognition. Among its accomplishments was the migration of customers from its Parasun acquisition; the expansion of its Call Center to a new, state-of-the-art facility; and the launch of new offerings such as enhanced bandwidth management tools, Network Services and Business Broadband, its commercial services suite.
In 2009, IBBS also received recognition from the industry such as the “IP Contact Center Technology Pioneer” Award for its BBX diagnostics and provisioning platform, and the TMC “Cable Product of the Year” Award for Commercial Services.
IBBS also forged many significant new partnerships in 2009. Power & Tel became a reseller for the Company in Latin America, and IBBS built key relationships with Business Application providers such as BlueTie, JungleDisk, Verio, Juniper, and BitDefender to help cable and broadband providers generate new, higher ARPU product offerings via the IBBS Commercial Services suite.
Capping off the year for IBBS were several contract renewals by many of its top MSO customers, which validate IBBS’ continued efforts to respond to customer needs and deliver valuable, innovative broadband solutions.
“We consider IBBS our most strategic partner for support of advanced services,” said Steve Sizemore, Director of Advanced Services for Cable Management Associates (CMA). “Small operators around the country will find it more and more difficult to provide the services needed to remain competitive without such a partner bringing much better economies of scale for the required talent.”
Steve Timcoe, Wyandotte Municipal Services, offered the following praise. “I [am] pleased at the transition from Parasun to IBBS. The fact that there was communication and full disclosure throughout the entire process and all the staff from the CEO to first level tech support is readily available and responsive shows a reliable commitment to customer service and support.
“From [the] first visit to our facilities to personally inform us of the transition proceedings and what IBBS is all about, to my visit to [the IBBS] facilities, I have been pleased with our partnership. Our confidence in IBBS was proven by the fact that Wyandotte Municipal Services quickly, yet comfortably negotiated and entered into a long-term agreement.”
